V:4 N:20

Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them. It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you.
Galatians 4:17-18

Are there people around you who are zealous to have you return to your old ways, your old eating patterns, your old passions? Are they quick to tempt you to “just go ahead” or “one bite won’t hurt” or “come on, you deserve it”? Don’t fall for their zealousness! I have watched people become sons of God (Gal 3:26-4:7) and then LEAVE their position and their inheritance all behind. I have seen people who are “born again,” but then they go back to what they were doing before! “It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good…” Be zealous for GOD and His will and His desires for your life! Do not allow yourself to be swayed by those who want to win you over and take you back to your old ways – don’t be deceived; remember the pain of it all! Keep your purpose GOOD, and be so always. Be a strong child of God, an heir worthy of receiving His inheritance!
