Yesterday, we talked about how putting on the “new self” is a day-in, day-out behavior. But how do you make that first change? How long does it take? Well, the transfer can be RAPID…IF you make the choice to change that behavior AND follow it up with your actions. The Lord has worked in me often during my prayer to Him in the night. I get convicted and I resolve to change. I can get up in the morning and be different! We are all continually being trained. This is a refining process…because we are generally dull people as a rule! We often have to be told something over and over before it sticks. It would be best for all of us if we just paid more attention to what God tells us the FIRST TIME and be done with it! This can be done!
