But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

The truth is that you were born to love, and you have an opportunity on earth to CHOOSE what you love. It is no wonder so many of us have selected food as the object of our affection — in fact, it’s been handed down. Many of our great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents have passed down this reverence for food; so in a sense, it is inherited, but it is not genetic. The answer to obesity will be found in the HEART of man. It is a chosen spiritual addiction, and we pass the legacy of our idols down to our children. Your children can see that the thought of food lights up your eyes. You can turn this around today, and make GOD the only thing that lights up your eyes – what a true legacy to pass down to your children!
