The word “kindness” appears 59 times in the Bible (NIV), and it is not just some one-time sweet deed – but is a lifetime-attitude we have toward God or another human being or that God has toward man. A couple of examples of the kindness that God shows man are Hosea 11:4, which you see above, and also Job 10:12. One example of man’s kindness toward fellow man is in 1 Chronicles 19:2. Note also that telling people the TRUTH is kindness – look at Psalm 141:5. True kindness is connecting people to God so that they will be healed!
